Russell Westbrook and Rajon Rondo aren’t exactly the best of relationships. Both players have been very bad since 2020, after the then Houston Rockets player insulted his pair of Los Angeles Lakers in the Orlando Bubble. Now, with different uniforms, the story remains unchanged.
The Washington Wizards faced the Atlanta Hawks in the NBA on Friday-evening, a game that was promised by name. The most appealing thing about the game, however, was that the two guards were starring in a new conflict.
At first, both Rondo and Westbrook started insulting each other, for which they each deserved a technical foul. However, the worst came later: the Wizards guard pushed the Hawks guard, causing a second technique and ejection. That was not all: Rajon Rondo celebrated as if he had won a fight and the Twitter world didn’t stop humiliating Russell.
