NBA Twitter responds to Steph Curry’s trick shot after buzzer vs. Magic

To call Steph Curry’s recent game impressive would be an understatement.

Ahead of Thursday’s match-up in San Francisco, the two-time most valuable player averaged 37.4 points on 57.5% from the field over a five-game period. Curry was on fire from outside the arc during that period, hitting 6.4 triples per game at 50% shooting from outside the arc.

Against the Orlando Magic at Chase Center, the six-time All-Star picked up where it left off. Curry set the magic on fire with 40 points on 14-of-26 shots from the field with eight boards, five assists and four steals in 37 minutes. The Golden State point guard remained warm from long range, registering 10 made 3-pointers on 19 tries.

While it didn’t count, Curry ended his 40-point attempt with an overwhelming shot. After the final buzzer sounded to seal Golden State’s 111-105 victory over Orlando, Curry launched an underhand shot with a high arc from behind the three-point line that shot through the bottom of the net.
