NBA | See VIDEO of James Harden’s Brooklyn Nets debut: he signed a triple-double

Brooklyn Nets faced the Orlando Magic, in a game that was no longer there in the history of the franchise and possibly not for the NBA in general. It was James Harden’s first meeting after leaving the Houston Rockets, in addition to the new meeting with Kevin Durant, who knew how to be his teammate in Oklahoma City Thunder.

If a fan of the league expected the pair to shine from the first game and hit a 20-point difference, the Magic showed it won’t be. The Nets, without Kyrie Irving indefinitely, had to fight for 48 minutes to sign the first win with Harden on the team.

La Barba had a first quarter where he could be noticed a little nervous, without making all those decisions that belonged to him before in the Rockets. Harden only scored two units in the first 12 minutes, showing that he’s human, although Orlando also showed they had to play above every presentation.

The meeting stayed the same to the end, though it eventually weighed up the hierarchy, something the entire franchise hopes will be repeated often. Brooklyn Nets were victorious 122-115 for their eighth win of the season. Meanwhile, the Orlando Magic had another negative record, a product of the 6-7 record.

James Harden made his debut with a triple-double for Brooklyn Nets

James Harden improved noticeably as the minutes passed, ending the night with a triple-double. La Barba made his debut in the Brooklyn Nets with 32 points, 14 assists and 12 rebounds. For his part, Kevin Durant was the team’s top scorer thanks to his 42 units, in addition to 5 passes goals and 4 boards.
