The Milwaukee Bucks lost their 2022 second round draft pick for breaking free agency rules.
The decision was announced by the NBA after a thorough investigation into the Bucks’ failed sign-and-trade deal to acquire Bogdan Bogdanovic.
The league found that the team had discussions with Bogdanovic and / or his agent before the date that discussions were allowed.
Ultimately, Bogdanovic signed with the Atlanta Hawks.
The NBA said it took into account that Milwaukee cooperated during the investigation. There was no evidence that Milwaukee had reached a prepayment agreement with Bogdanovic and that the Bucks had not acquired it before the fine was imposed.
