Nancy Pelosi’s house smashed with graffiti, pig’s head: reports

Opposition to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s handling of the coronavirus incentive bill could strike close to home – literally.

On Friday, photos surfaced on social media and TMZ with graffiti on a garage door in San Francisco, supposedly near the house of the Democratic congressman. The apparently sprayed message read “$ 2K” with a line through it.

“Cancel rent?” “We want everything!” Another line seemed to read “UBI!” referring to the concept of universal basic income.

A San Francisco Police Department spokesman told Fox News that agents responded to the reported vandalism at around 2 a.m. Friday. “Unknown suspect (s) had painted graffiti on the garage door and left a pig’s head on the sidewalk,” they said.

They said the scene was in the 2600 block of Broadway, but they couldn’t confirm who owned the house or if anyone was there at the time.

According to KRON, the MyNetworkTV affiliated station in San Francisco, the messages have been covered and fake blood removed from the ground.

It’s unclear if the police have any suspects, but the graffiti featured two letter A’s with circles around them, the sign typically associated with anarchism.

The incident underscored ongoing tensions around coronavirus relief.

Congress entered the New Year without compromise after months of stalled negotiations. While President Trump and the Democrats pushed for $ 2,000 stimulus checks, Senate Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., Dismissed those as “socialism for the rich.”
