Music – Spanish producer Rick Eckboch arrives in the Dominican Republic to hunt for talent

Spanish music producer Rick Eckbotch is looking for talent in the Dominican Republic as part of a project to find new artists from South America, Central America and the Caribbean. These actions are carried out by the British company Sputnik Music, in collaboration with the companies Jp Inc Record and Knockout Ent.

“I have come to look for new talent that I can launch to international fame, as well as to share my knowledge, recordings and work with anyone who wants to succeed in music,” he said. Eckbotch, who has had the chance to be included in the European top 40, STMPD RCRDS TOP 50 and Beatport top 10.

Songs like “Lost in the Desert”, “Loot” and “Trinidad” have had the chance to participate in Beatport Tech House’s 100 best releases, with between 32,000 and 80,000 streams on Spotify. Since his arrival, the producer has had the opportunity to engage in local collaborations with Químico Ultramega and Ceky Viciny, and plans to continue working with others.

“We were interested in Rick because he has always been able to find hidden diamonds among new artists that have not yet been released. He is eager to start this new leg in our country, ” explains Sarah Valdez, the producer representative in the country, saying that Eckbotch felt very well treated since the first day he arrived, and hopes here to be able to stay permanently because he claims to be in love with the Dominican Republic, its people and its musical culture.
