Municipal worker suffers 9 feet due to uncovered sewerage in San Lorenzo

An employee of the municipality of San Lorenzo is in a state of concern after falling about 30 feet into a sewer on Calle 4 of the Ciudad Masso urbanization at around 4:15 am.

In a press release, the police reported that the 64-year-old man works for Rijkswaterstaat of the aforementioned municipality.

According to the complaint, while the worker was in the process of collecting waste, “he did not notice a sewer falling into it without a safety cover, which is about 30 feet high.”

The injured person was transported by Aeromed air ambulance to the Río Piedras Medical Center.

Agent Damaris Claudio, of the San Lorenzo neighborhood, took charge of the investigation.
