“Multiple Injuries” When Shooting at FedEx Indianapolis Site | Univision News Shootings

Police say several people were injured after shooting at a FedEx facility in Indianapolis.

The incident was reported at the facility, which is located near the Indianapolis International Airport, the WRTV channel reported.

William Young, a spokesman for the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, said police are calling the incident a “mass victim,” according to WRTV.

Sam Rodino, an Indiana State Police spokesman, told the New York Times that the warehouse was on the southwest side of the city, but he had no details of casualties or injuries yet.

Genae Cook, an Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officer, said officers were called to the scene for filming around 11 p.m. local time, the television station reported.

The FedEx Indianapolis facility employs more than 4,500 members and is the second largest center in the company’s global network.
