WALLED LAKE, Mich. (WXYZ) – A family mourns a murder in Walled Lake, in which a 50-year-old man was stabbed to death in his own home.
A roommate of the victim has been taken into custody and arrested, according to neighbors who saw him handcuffed from the house.
“He definitely didn’t deserve this, he was a good person,” said Nancy Johnston, mother of 50-year-old Todd Hall.
Nancy tells us it is unknown what sparked the violence in the home that resulted in the death of her son.
So far, the police have released few details about what happened.
Todd Hall is described as a loving father and someone who would always help others in need.
He was stabbed to death at 11 p.m. on Wednesday evening, reportedly by a friend and roommate.
Police continue to collect evidence from the house on Dover Hill Road, near the Maple and Pontiac Trail.
