More than 800 new confirmed cases, six deaths and 509 hospitalizations from COVID

The health department reported about 802 confirmed cases and six additional deaths from the coronavirus, COVID-19.

According to the information published on the digital portal, the accumulated confirmed cases on the island amount to 107,884. In addition, it indicates about 415 probable cases detected with the antigen test, for a cumulative total of 13,817. While from the serological tests about 1,068 additional cases are indicated, with a total of 108,254.

With the nine deaths reported today, the total number rises to 2,200. These deaths occur, four in the Bayamón region, one in Caguas and one in the metro. In the case of Bayamón, there are four men aged 71, 73, 44 and 43, while in Caguas it is a 79-year-old woman, in the metropolitan area a 77-year-old man is referred to.

On the other hand, an increase of 19 people was reported in hospital admissions, out of a total of 509. Of these, 463 were adults and 46 minors. Intensive patients are maintained at 92 adults and four minors.

The number of adults rose from 60 to 65 for ventilation patients and remained at 2 for minors.
