More rain waves expected on Sunday, few strong storms possible

ORLANDO, Fla. – The troubled pattern will continue to end the weekend and until Monday. The most common rain and storms will be along and northwest of I-4 through Saturday night. A few storms can be strong. The greatest likelihood of strong storms will be along a deadlocked front across the northern provinces of Marion and Flagler.

Harmful winds, heavy rainfall and lightning are the main threats. A short tornado is also possible in the strongest storms.

The chance of rain and storm decreases after about 8 p.m.

Another chance of strong storms arrives Monday with another system pushing through the southeastern US. The biggest serious threat will be northwest of I-4 Monday for areas shaded in yellow.

Our uncertain weather pattern will continue in the coming week. Next weekend it should be drier, windy and a bit colder.
