There were 226 newly confirmed COVID-19 cases reported in Montana on Thursday, and the statewide death toll since the start of the pandemic is 1,489, according to data collected by MTN News.
The number of active cases in the state is currently 979, according to MTN News, and there are a total of 106,015 cases of the virus in Montana. Of the total cases, 103,547 have been recovered.
There are currently 40 people hospitalized for treatment of the virus, and the cumulative number of hospitalizations is 4,838.
The number of tests conducted in the state has reached 1,229,123, up from 8,494 over the previous 24-hour reporting period.
The total number of COVID-19 vaccine doses administered in Montana is 559,035 and the number of residents fully immunized is 226,878.
