The numbers reported by MTN reflect the latest data from the Montana COVID website, along with additional data received from the county’s health departments.

Note: As COVID-19 cases escalate in Montana, the disparity between state data from DPHHS and local data from regional health departments continues to increase.

MTN has decided to use a combination of these sources to provide more accurate information across all media platforms. We think this is a more truthful representation of the situation in Montana.

Local county health departments can be warned of cases prior to Montana DPHHS. Since those countries share that information with the public, MTN believes this should be reflected in our reporting. Using that local data means that there will be times when MTN coronavirus data is inconsistent with the state report.
