275 people are currently hospitalized for treatment of the virus.

The number of tests conducted in the state has reached 747,802, up from 5,262 over the previous 24-hour reporting period.

The numbers reported by MTN reflect the latest data from the Montana COVID website, along with additional data received from the county’s health departments.

Note: As COVID-19 cases escalate in Montana, the disparity between state data from DPHHS and local data from regional health departments continues to increase.

MTN has decided to use a combination of these sources to provide more accurate information across all media platforms. We think this is a more true representation of the situation in Montana.

Local county health departments can be warned of cases prior to Montana DPHHS. Since those countries share that information with the public, MTN believes this should be reflected in our reporting. Using that local data means there will be times when MTN coronavirus data is not in line with the status report.
