The numbers reported by MTN reflect the latest data from the COVID website in Montana, along with additional data received from the county’s health departments.

Note: As new COVID-19 cases persist in Montana, the disparity between state data from DPHHS and local data from regional health departments also persists.

MTN has decided to use a combination of these sources to deliver more accurate information across all media platforms. In our view, this is a more true representation of the situation in Montana.

Local county health departments can be warned of cases prior to Montana DPHHS. Since those countries share that information with the public, MTN believes this should be reflected in our reporting. Using that local data means there will be times when MTN coronavirus data is not in line with the status report.
