Capcom has released a new set of trailers for Monster Hunter Rise introduction of Gunlance and Insect Glaive weapons.
Here’s an overview of each weapon, via Capcom:
Gunlance
Intrepid, explosive artillery. The Gunlance combines impenetrable defense with powerful ballistics. Scatter your prey with a mob of bombing and deal massive damage with the signature Wyvern’s Fire attack.
“Guard Edge” is a silky-binding attack that catches incoming attacks and restores the sharpness of your weapon, ready for retaliation.
Insect Glaive
Ace of dogfights. The Insect Glaive excels at aerial hunting tactics with the combination of a nimble staff and a Kinsect that absorbs monster essences and turns them into buffs.
“Recall Kinsect” is a Silkbind attack that will recall your Kinsect while dodging. When it returns, it will perform spinning attacks that disperse healing extracts, heal the hunter and restore all of its stamina.
Previous weapon trailers introduced the Hammer, Sword & Shield, Heavy Bowgun, Light Bowgun, Lance, Long Sword, Bow and Dual Blades.
Monster Hunter Rise is scheduled for Switch on March 26, 2021 worldwide. A temporary demo will be released in January.
