New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio and Steve Cohen, the owner of Mets, announced on Tuesday that Citi Field will be used as one of the city’s 24/7 vaccination centers starting the week of January 25.

The Citi Field vaccination site, which will be operated by New York City Health + Hospitals, is aimed at all New Yorkers and will serve approximately 5,000-7,000 people per day, according to the website. Tuesday’s announcement.
