Miranda Lambert involved in hit-and-run on Georgia Highway

Miranda Lambert recently shared photos of a ‘great’ road trip with husband Brendan McLoughlin, revealing that while on the road, a car swept the couple on the highway before taking off without saying a word.

While traveling through Georgia on their way back to their Tennessee home, the couple met a “erratic” driver.

“Unfortunately on the way home via ATL, an a-hole in a small car with temp plates drove erratically and tried to squeeze between us and a 70’s semi-truck on I-20W,” Lambert tweeted. “It hit the airstream and sent us to the left lane.”

She continued: “We fished fairly well, but went on the shoulder as soon as possible to assess the damage. No one was hurt, thank the good Lord. But nobody stopped and the car sped away. (Cool Bro) We are so grateful that nothing worse has happened. “

Lambert, 37, added that she knew her mother’s prayers covered her family.

“Our vehicle and trailer were driveable, so we made a report and were towed home. I called Mom right away to say I know her prayers are always heard because I know she prays for us at around 3:30 every morning. Especially when we are on the road.

“And Brendan kept our trailer stable because it was swept from the side,” she added. “Thanks to @airstream_inc and @southlandrv we are going to be repaired soon and back to our vagabonds. Regardless, it was a great trip overall and we learned that we have a lot to see and be grateful for. “

Lambert and McLoughlin were married in January 2019, four years after she split from fellow countryman Blake Shelton and judge “The Voice”.
