Since 2017, three real exercises have been done Namsi, they were performed in the First naval zone based in Tampico, Tamaulipas, in 2017; on the Sixth Naval Region based in Manzanillo, Colima, in 2018; and the last held last year in the Fourteenth Sea Zone based in Puerto Chiapas, Chiapas, with the participation of operational units from the three countries.
According to the Mexican Navy, the performance of these training exercises measures, evaluates and contrasts the operation procedures, as well as their usefulness by the operational units and operators of the command and control centers and rooms; this because of the ability to coordinate between Command and control centers of the USCG and the Mexican Navy.
