Mexico authorizes emergency use of India’s COVID-19 vaccine

MEXICO CITY (Reuters) – Mexican health regulator Cofepris has authorized emergency use of the Indian COVID-19 vaccine COVAXIN, Mexican Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard said Tuesday.

“Very timely decision by COFEPRIS to allow the emergency use of the COVAXIN vaccine manufactured in India. The options for COVID-19 vaccination in Mexico are expanding !!!, ”said Ebrard on Twitter.
