Currently, there is no reference to how many people have this type of condition. The World Health Organization (WHO) indicates that 15% of people worldwide have some type of disability, this condition of (PCI) is considered there.

We know that a healthy person must have a correct diet. What about those who have some kind of neurological deficit that prevents them from eating properly? This happens in people with infantile cerebral palsy; This problem, the origin of which is unknown, affects not only their psychomotor development, but also on the gastrointestinal level.

Various gastrointestinal pathologies develop in them, such as diarrhea, esophagia, esophageal reflux, constipation, causing moderate to severe malnutrition. If patients eat a well-balanced diet, these foods help improve the pathologies they exhibit, improve their mood and gain weight little by little.

Food aspects or references

Everyone around you must be patient with your appetite. They must eat fresh food, which is prepared immediately and every 3 hours. Maintain a semi-sitting position to eat. Your eating utensils must be completely aseptic. The portions to be fed are small. Their food should be easily digestible, given in the form of cream, raspaditas (fruit), small pieces.
