Memorial Healthcare now offers both Moderna, Pfizer-BioNtech vaccines at selected locations

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. – The Memorial Healthcare System announced on Wednesday that it has received its first batch of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine and is currently scheduling appointments for medical professionals and those 65 or older.

The Pfizer-BioNtech vaccine is also still being offered by the health system, while supplies last.

The vaccinations are available by appointment only.

There are two options for signing up for appointments: visit https://mychart.mhs.net. In your diagram, a section called “appointments” has been programmed to create an appointment. Choose a date, time and location that suit you.

Those who meet the criteria for making an appointment can also call Centralized Health System Scheduling at 954-276-4340 Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. The call center is closed on weekends. Keep in mind that callers may experience longer waiting times than usual.

Below are the vaccination sites and opening hours that are currently open for appointments:

• Memorial Specialty Pharmacy, 9581 Premier Parkway, Miramar.
• Opening hours: Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5.30pm, closed Sundays.
• Memorial Regional Hospital Conference Center, 3501 Johnson Street, Hollywood.
• Opening hours: Monday 12 noon to 7.30 pm; Tuesday to Friday from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm. Closed on weekends.

What can you expect at the vaccination sites?

• Vaccines are provided by appointment only, while supplies last.
• Please bring a state-issued permit or photo ID to check-in at the site. Health professionals must be able to provide proof of licensure.
• To maintain social distance, companions without an appointment are asked to stay outside.
• Wear a shirt or top where the upper arm is accessible.
• Children are not allowed on the site. There is no childcare available.
