Meghan Markle is expecting a baby, a spokesperson for the couple has confirmed.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who currently live in California, are preparing to welcome a sibling to their young son Archie later this year.
A spokesman for Meghan and Harry said: ‘We can confirm that Archie is going to be a big brother.
“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are over the moon to be expecting their second child.”
The couple shared their announcement by posting a candid black and white photo of Prince Harry putting his hand on Meghan’s head as she lay on his lap under a tree.
The photo of the Duke and Duchess was taken by Misan Harriman, the couple’s old friend. What great news for the Sussexes !! their spokesperson added.
It comes just months after the Duchess of Sussex, 39, said she lost her second child in an article for the New York Times.
