Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have released their first Christmas card since moving to California and show off 19-month-old Archie’s red hair.
The couple can be seen playing with their young son in the yard of their $ 14.7 million home in Montecito, along with dogs Pula and Guy.
The card was released Wednesday through Mayhew, the UK animal charity for which she is patron.
It says, “I wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.” The card is a drawing of an image created by Meghan’s mother Doria
A spokesman for the couple said: ‘The original photo of the family was taken at their home earlier this month by The Duchess’s mother.
“The little Christmas tree, including the homemade ornaments and other decorations, was chosen by Archie and the tree will be replanted after the holidays.”
The cards provide a glimpse into the family’s home and Archie’s playhouse.

In it, Meghan writes: ‘This year, as a family, we have made donations to various charities with you in mind.
From a local California organization helping families get out of homelessness, to two of our UK patronages: one supporting animal and community welfare, and the other, a memorial fund for a dear friend who helps raise children and fighting poverty in Uganda, we have honored their work on behalf of all of us. ‘
Harry and Meghan moved to Montecito after staying at Tyler Perry’s $ 18 million, 12-bedroom, and 8-bath home in Beverly Hills following their move from Canada, having stepped down from senior royals in March.
In November, Meghan wrote for The New York Times about her July miscarriage. “Losing a child means carrying an almost unbearable grief, which is experienced by many but of which few speak,” she wrote.
The couple, who are believed to be spending the festive season with Doria, recently announced that they have signed a lucrative podcast deal with Spotify worth up to £ 30 million.
They will produce and host their own shows as part of the newly formed Archewell Audio – starting with a ‘holiday special’ that the pair hope will ‘elevate audiences around the world’.

The festive black and white card showed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex smiling as they posed in front of a Christmas tree, Archie’s face in the foreground of the image.
It was shared on social media by the Queen’s Commonwealth Trust and read, “Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from our family to yours.”
In a tweet, the Trust said: ‘Just sharing the cutest Christmas card from our President and Vice President, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Very Merry Christmas, everyone! ‘
