After dramatically reading the children’s book out loud, McCarthy concluded by saying, “Enjoy your day!”

On Tuesday, Dr. Seuss Enterprises said it would no longer publish six books because of racially insensitive images in their illustrations that “portray people in ways that are hurtful and wrong.”
“Discontinuing sales of these books is only part of our commitment and broader plan to ensure that the Dr. Seuss Enterprises catalog represents and supports all communities and families,” the company told The Associated Press of the motivation of the decision.
Following the announcement, sales skyrocketed for the books in question, including ‘McElligot’s Pool,’ ‘On Beyond Zebra !,’ ‘Scrambled Eggs Super !,’ ‘The Cat’s Quizzer,’ ‘And Thinking I Saw It On Mulberry Street “and” If I Ran the Zoo. “
On Thursday, eBay announced it was also selling Dr. Seuss would ban, with a spokesman saying the company was “currently sweeping our market to remove these items.”
