PARMA, Ohio – Frank Q. Jackson, the grandson of Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson, was arrested Sunday morning after a police chase.
Police said they tried to stop Frank Q. Jackson because the tint on his vehicle was too dark.
During the stop, they asked Jackson to get out of the vehicle.
An officer tried to catch Jackson as he pulled away in his vehicle.
Officials said the officer could run the car before being released. He was not physically towed or seriously injured in the incident.
Cops chased Jackson’s vehicle, where it was traveling over 100 mph.
Police said they lost the vehicle after heading west on I-90 on Lorain Avenue.
Jackson turned himself in to the Parma police at around 3 a.m.
Last week, an arrest warrant was issued for his arrest for allegedly punching his girlfriend in the face during an argument in December 2020.
