Massive leak for modern warfare reveals upcoming maps, weapons and operators

A new leak for Modern Warfare is underway, and it looks like there’s more than a little bit of new content coming to the game.

It looks like Modern Warfare is about to get a massive update to what would have been Season 7 content. With the title of Infinity Ward merging with Cold War for the new Battle Pass, we’re not sure what this new content will be called drop.

Regardless, it’s a big new content install and it’s exciting to see Modern Warfare not dying just yet. With new maps, weapons and fan-favorite operators on the way, this is one of the best looking updates the game has ever had.

Modern Warfare ‘Season 7’ is leaking new content

In a new widespread leak from reliable sources, fans are learning that Modern Warfare’s new content update is on the way. It will consist of two new operators, including the highly anticipated Soap MacTavish.

A second operator, Shane Sparks, also joins the game’s roster.

3 new weapons are also coming to Modern Warfare, including the new RAAL LMG reveal. We’ve even seen some of the new Modern Warfare weapons in action, thanks to in-game leaks.

At the moment, there is some confusion about the Makarov pistol in Modern Warfare. The rifle will be called the Sykov, but it will look similar to the original Black Ops weapon.

There are also several new maps to battle it out, in both 2v2 and 6v6 Multiplayer matches. Killhouse and Al-Raab Airbase are coming to standard multiplayer.

Meanwhile, Townhouse and Drainage are the new 2v2 maps that players expect to release with the update.

When will the new update for Modern Warfare come?

Unfortunately, we don’t know exactly when the new Modern Warfare update is coming. All this leaked content is said to have come from data miners delving into the game’s existing files.

There’s even a video of Soap MacTavish making the rounds online, but Activision is quickly deleting any footage that is uploaded. As with every Modern Warfare leak, the company is fiercely protecting its franchise.

This new content should surface at some point, although some gamers are more skeptical.

In fact, several users believe that this content is being intentionally held back for the release of Modern Warfare 2 next year. Although Modern Warfare is confirmed to have more content along the way, it’s hard to say if this season 7 drop will be part of that.

Right now, the focus is on Black Ops Cold War Season 1, which brings the franchise together. We already know when Cold War and Warzone Season 2 will be released, but we have little knowledge of upcoming Modern Warfare content.
