A gunman opened fire at an industrial park in Texas on Thursday – injuring at least six people before escaping and causing a manhunt, according to local reports.
According to the local station KBTX, some injured people were in a critical condition.
Gunfire broke out at the Kent Moore Cabinets offices in the town of Bryan, just outside Texas A&M University between Austin and Houston at around 2:30 p.m., the Eagle reported.
The suspect has been identified by a witness, and police in the area are now trying to track down the shooter, the paper said.
There were reports of a police chase with shots fired at 3:30 p.m. near the town of Iola, 30 minutes from the crime scene, The Eagle reported. It is unclear whether the incidents were related.
The shooting took place near a high school, which the local station said had been temporarily locked.
