Mass Effect Legendary Edition has turned gold

Next month’s release of Mass Effect Legendary Edition has now officially turned gold. The news was shared on social media this afternoon by BioWare director Mac Walters, confirming that the game’s main work has now been completed. It also means that at this point you can certainly pre-order the game with confidence without fear of it being slowed down.

Mass Effect Legendary Edition has turned gold! Walters said in his tweet. It has been quite a journey – time to celebrate briefly. Maybe even dance a little bit … if that’s your thing. Walters went on with a short chip of Mass Effect Legendary Edition from Commander Shepard doing the “Shepard Shuffle” as it has come to be known.

As mentioned earlier, the fact that Mass Effect Legendary Edition has now turned gold, means the game should definitely hit its May release date. While that wouldn’t normally be a problem, a litany of games so far has been delayed in 2021, mainly due to restrictions placed on development studios due to the pandemic. As such, for BioWare to reaffirm that today Legendary edition won’t miss the release date is certainly exciting for those who planned to pick up the game.

Fortunately, you don’t have to wait much longer if you are one of those people looking to return to this popular trilogy. Mass Effect Legendary Edition releases next month on May 14th and will be playable on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S and PC.
