CLEVELAND, Ohio – The New Orleans Saints cornerback and Cleveland-born Marshon Lattimore were arrested late in Cleveland on Thursday, according to three sources aware of his arrest.
The 24-year-old was arrested on suspicion of receiving stolen property, the sources said. Prison reports confirm that Lattimore has been placed in Cuyahoga County Jail on the charge. Lattimore has not been formally charged.
According to prison records, the Cleveland Police Department’s gang investigators arrested Lattimore on Thursday around 10:30 p.m.
The details of his arrest have not yet been released.
Lattimore is a three-time Pro Bowl roster and 2017 Defensive Rookie of the Year. He played at Glenville High School and Ohio State University before the Saints fielded him in the first round of the 2017 NFL draft.
