Nintendo decided to use Wario’s fashion choices Mario Golf: Super RushThe company had their massive Nintendo Direct yesterday unveiling the new entry in their sports series. Fans seemed happy with the development, but many of them were more concerned with Wario and Bowser’s athletic apparel. Seeing the Mario characters in different attire will always get people talking on the internet. But this was mostly weird. It seems like Nintendo takes some inspiration from real-life golfers and Wario seems to be equipped as infamous party guest John Daly. The Mercurial athlete won the PGA Championship in 1991 and the Open Championship in 1995. Those are great accolades, but he is really more known for standing out as much as possible. So there is a perfect match for Wario.
Mario Golf: Super Rush will be released worldwide on June 25, priced at $ 60, and via Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite. Pre-orders are now live at Best Buy. You can read more about the game below, courtesy of an official pitch from the exclusive:
