Marilyn Manson is under investigation in case of domestic violence

Wood, who stars in the HBO series “Westworld,” had previously stated that he was in an abusive relationship, but did not mention the person until he made his allegations on Instagram on Feb. 1.

“My abuser name is Brian Warner, known in the world as Marilyn Manson,” Wood said. “He started bothering me when I was a teenager and he abused me horribly for years.”

The now 33-year-old actress and Manson’s relationship went public in 2007 when he was 38 and she was 19, and they were briefly engaged in 2010 before breaking up.

Manson responded to Wood’s allegations the same day with his own Instagram post.

“Obviously my art and my life have long been magnets of controversy, but these recent allegations about me are horrible distortions of reality,” he wrote. “My intimate relationships have always been full consensus with like-minded couples. No matter how or why, others are now choosing to misrepresent the past, that’s the truth. “

In 2018, Los Angeles County prosecutors declined to press charges against Manson on assault and sexual abuse charges dating back to 2011, arguing that they could not do so because the case was prescribed and for lack of confirmation. The prosecution was identified only as an acquaintance of Manson.

On that occasion, Manson denied the charges through his attorney.
