In an interview with Yordi Rosado in Mexico, the interpreter revealed that one of the reasons for the divorce was that they both traveled a lot and that everyone was on their own.
“What could have intervened was that she traveled a lot and so did I. We were used to one or the other there. He did tours, novels and they took up many chapters. Also age, I am 11 years older, ” the singer said after adding that the divorce was gradual in the interest of his children.
“First we decided to sleep in separate rooms. Thereafter, I have moved to the next building and I told my kids I would have my office there and they enjoyed going from one elevator to another. On the other hand, he remembered that the first time he met Lucero It was in 1987, when the actress was only 17 years old and they met on the set of a movie. They don’t start dating until the age of 24.
“I didn’t want to do (the movie) because I’m not an actor. But back in the day, when they pasted your records, they gave you movies, they offered to make soap operas and so much more, there was the photonovela (…) Time passes, I see her promoting an album. She was about 24 years old and the flirting started, ”he said.
From that moment on, the couple began their romance and they got married in 1997 at a lavish wedding broadcast by Televisa on the small screen. Their love story seemed on the right track, until they announced their divorce in March 2011.
