Authorities reported that a man on a plane had an accident in the water near Highway 325, Guaypao sector in Guanica today, Friday, around 7:37 AM.
According to the police, a call has been received to the 9-1-1 system, alerting the police of an ultralight plane, known as “Crazy Goat”, that has fallen into the water at that location.
Agents from the Guanica Maritime Unit rescue 65-year-old Ricardo Castro. Municipal medical ambulance personnel arrived on the scene, indicating that the victim is in good health and he refused to be transported to a hospital for treatment.
Agent Feliberti of the FURA Maritime Unit of Guánica is investigating the events.
