After that emotional moment, Luciana had the opportunity to walk in swimsuits. In this presentation, the ex-queen of the Patron Festivities of her hometown let the audience know why the jury chose her. With a flawless catwalk, in which her rhythmically swaying hips and her perfect stage management stood out, the Salvadoran made the audience cheer her. At this stage of the competition he achieved a score of 8.92. If you compare that score with that of the other classified, everything seemed to indicate that the Salvadoran would move on to the next stage: the ten finalists. However, the presenter announced that in those ten candidates would be the contestant who was chosen by the popular vote of the audience. Surprisingly, it was the representative from Malaysia who was called, a candidate who was not named in the top 20 and who also did not parade with the others in bathing suits.
“It’s unfair. It’s not worth putting someone among the ten finalists just because they had a lot of likes on social networks. That position belonged to Luciana,” said Ronald Cerón, “missologist.”
