Madison LeCroy wishes Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez the best during their breakup.
The “Southern Charm” star told Page Six on Thursday when we contacted A-Rod and J.Lo announcing their split, “I wish them the best.”
It may have been the perfect foray into LeCroy’s famous exes, after she became entangled in rumors that she was dating Rodriguez.
LeCroy had previously remained a mom when we reported last month that Rodriguez and Lopez were breaking up. “You took me by surprise,” said the 30-year-old reality star when we told her that A-Rod and J.Lo were breaking up. But now that their goodbyes are official, she sent her best wishes.
LeCroy was embroiled in a recent scandal when rumors came out on the reunion episode of her Bravo series that she had FaceTiming with an unnamed famous baseball player – who turned out to be A-Rod.
LeCroy told Andy Cohen about the then mystery man’s show: “He contacted me, and yes we DM’ed, but other than that there was nothing … I’ve never seen him [or] touched him. “
She then told Page Six of the alleged relationship: “He never physically cheated on his fiancé with me.” She told us that she and A-Rod, 45, had only “ talked on the phone, ” but “ never been physical … never had anything. Just an acquaintance. ”
Meanwhile, sources close to the former slugger shot down the rumors, telling the Post, “He doesn’t know this woman.”
A month after Page Six reported that the star-studded relationship of Lopez, 51 and Rodriguez was on the rocks, they told “ Today ” in a statement Thursday: “ We’ve realized we’re better as friends and are looking forward to stay that way … We will continue to work together and support each other in our shared businesses and projects. We wish each other and each other’s children the best. “
According to TMZ, Lopez has not yet returned her $ 1.8 million engagement ring from Rodriguez; the outlet says the couple has not discussed it. But their source adds that the couple traded “massive amounts of jewelry” while together, so it’s probably not something A-Rod is willing to go to war with.
A source told Page Six in March, “The Madison LeCroy scandal was the reason they eventually broke up. There were already problems, but Jennifer was really embarrassed about it. ”
However, J-Rod – as they were once called – denied they broke up, saying they were on the job, before finally confirming the breakup on “ Today. ”
LeCroy had gone on to hit the Bahamas last month and frolic in the surf in a bikini with friends.
Meanwhile, LeCroy told us of recent rumors that she was looking cozy with “Southern Charm” co-star Whitney Sudler-Smith: “I don’t know why this is even a story, but Whitney and I are old friends.”
