Lúgaro explained that her intention was never to be political or to pursue candidacy, but that she did it out of disagreement with the reality of the island. It was that in 2015 that led her to consider herself as an independent candidate for the Interieur.

The announcement was made in an open letter to the country published on networks where he described as an achievement that had shaped the Citizen Victory Movement and the change it achieved in the last election managed to position itself in the legislature.
