Genshin ImpactThe Lost Riches event has just begun. Now, on the second day, players will have a number of new locations where they can collect iron coins. Likewise, there is a special treasure that can be found in Brightcrown Canyon. Here’s our guide to help you.

Genshin Impact: Lost Riches Event – Day 2 locations and the special treasure in Brightcrown Canyon
The two previous locations in Genshin ImpactThe Lost Riches event was Falcon Coast and Lingju Pass. They should already give you 120 iron coins.
Today, two more locations have become available and you should be able to collect 240 Iron Coins for the Event Shop.
Location # 3: Starfell Lake
Head northeast from Monstadt and meander around Starfell Lake. Activate your Treasure-Seeking Seelie and listen to the beeping sound effect. Here you will find several places where you can dig up iron coins.
A major difference on Day 2 of the Lost Riches event is that some enemies can spawn once you dig up the treasure. These guys are simple bandits who collect treasure so they shouldn’t be too much of a problem.
After collecting 60 iron coins in this area, you can search for the special treasure in Brightcrown Canyon or head to Guili Plains. I’ll cover the former for a while, so let’s talk about Guili Plains first.
Location # 4: Guili Plains
Travel quickly to the Domain of Forsaken Ruins, where you will discover more iron coins. Like the ones in Starfell Lake, some of these spots will also spawn a few treasure hunters.
Check the area around the domain itself until you get all the iron coins. When you are done, you should already have 240 iron coins. However, the remaining locations are still time-gated, so we’ll have to wait for another daily reset.
Note: Make sure the last iron coins you find are close to the destroyed temple. I’ll explain more below.
Brightcrown Canyon special treasure
When you open the Lost Riches event details panel, you’ll see a clue where the special treasure in Brightcrown Canyon can be found.
The zone itself is northwest of Monstadt, so use the fast travel point to reach it.
What we are looking for is a dilapidated tower with a church bell. You will find this further west as you walk through the ravine.

Once you interact with the glowing light, a challenge marker will appear. Upon activation, a pair of abyss magicians (Cryo and Hydro) will emerge.
Their levels are scaled to yours, so make sure you have the correct characters (basic shield breakers) with you. There is also a requirement that you cannot get frozen more than three times, so be quick with your nuclear weapons.
After taking out both mobs you will get the following:
- 3x Hero’s White
- 60x Primogems
- 30,000 Mora
- 6x Mystic Enhancement Ore
Co-op Challenge possible bug
Now, according to Genshin ImpactThe event site of:
While searching for treasure, travelers may encounter difficult challenges that may be easier to overcome with the help of teammates … Once travelers complete the challenge, all team members will receive Mora or Hero’s White.
Travelers can complete co-op challenges in their own world as well as that of others. Throughout the event, you can collect a total of three co-op challenge rewards in other players’ worlds. Once the event has ended, you cannot participate in these co-op challenges.
Update 1: I just joined one Genshin Impact buddy to complete the encounter (he hasn’t done this challenge yet). After defeating the two mages, he got his completion rewards (Mora, Hero’s Wit, Primogems, and Mystic Enhancement Ore). Unfortunately, I did not receive any Mora or Hero’s Wit rewards at all.
Again, I’m not sure if this is the actual hard co-op challenge mentioned on the website, or if it’s something completely different.
Update 2: Looks like the co-op challenge is in Guili Plains. For reference, you need to find the last few iron coins near the temple ruins (see below).
After you have received all coins, an automatic popup will appear telling you that you have unlocked the co-op challenge.
Unfortunately, the last iron coins I found were a little further away from this place. The challenge marker and pop-up message did not appear at all. I even tried restarting the game to no avail.
I suspect this is a bug so make sure to grab the iron coins closer to the temple ruins last. Alternatively, it could just mean that the co-op challenge unlock is random, but I doubt that. Please let me know if you have any other findings.
