Lori Loughlin photographed for the first time since Mossimo Giannulli’s parole from prison

Lori Loughlin is being photographed for the first time since her husband Mossimo Giannulli’s parole from a California prison after a five-month sentence for his role in the college admissions scandal.

Full House star Loughlin, 56, was spotted through Calabasas, California on Thursday wearing a very nondescript baseball cap, dark goggles and a large white face mask, despite appearing to be the only person in her vehicle.

The sighting comes after her husband, fashion designer Giannulli, 57, was released from prison on Saturday and is now reportedly under house arrest.

The married couple pleaded guilty to paying half a million dollars to get their two daughters to go to the University of Southern California last year. Loughlin was released from a Dublin prison in December after spending two months behind bars.

Giannulli was due to finish his sentence on April 17, but was released early to serve the end of his sentence at home.

According to a source, he has not yet been reunited with his family.

Lori is relieved to have been released from prison. However, Mossimo is still in federal custody, ” the source told People.

The two were among the most high-profile parents charged in the scheme, which authorities say involved hefty bribes to get undeserving teens into schools with faked test scores or fake athletic credentials.

Giannulli was released into house arrest on Friday, a person familiar with the matter told The Associated Press. He is expected to serve the rest of his sentence at home, the person said. The person was unable to publicly discuss the matter and spoke to the AP on the condition of anonymity.

Giannulli, whose Mossimo clothing was a Target brand until recently, was imprisoned in a federal prison in Lompoc near Santa Barbara. He reported in November and was due to be released in April.

Release to house arrest is not uncommon in Giannulli’s case, partly because of the short nature of his sentence.

Records indicate that he is overseen by a Bureau of Prisons facility in Long Beach, which operates a halfway house as well as inmates who are under house arrest. According to the records, he will be released from prison on April 17.

The Justice Department has ordered greater use of house arrest and the Bureau of Prisons’ accelerated release of eligible inmates – with priority for those in low- or medium-security prisons – starting with virus hotspots. But advocates have raised concerns about racial and financial inequalities among those who are under house arrest.

In Touch first reported the release of Giannulli.

Giannulli’s lawyers and Bureau of Prisons officials did not immediately return requests for comment on Saturday.

Loughlin and Giannulli initially pleaded not guilty, claiming they believed they were making a legitimate contribution to USC with their $ 500,000 payment to Singer.

They each spent up to 40 years behind bars, later turned off course and entered into a plea deal with prosecutors.

Loughlin was released from federal lockup at CI Dublin, California on December 28, serving her full two-month prison sentence, as stated by the Federal Bureau of Prisons.

The Full House star reportedly had a ‘tearful’ reunion with her daughters Olivia Jade, 21, and Bella Rose, 22, when she finally returned to their Malibu mansion.
