A lot has changed for Lora DiCarlo since CES 2019, when the Consumer Technology Association released its innovative Osé sex toy from a well-deserved CES Innovation Award. Not only fucks CES nowLora DiCarlo also announces a new product line for the fully virtual CES 2021.
This year, Lora DiCarlo is releasing three new ergonomic sex toys featuring “advanced thermally conductive plastics”. In other words, these toys are heated to simulate body temperature and heated massage devices so you can give your circulation a big boost, reduce muscle tension and “increase overall sexual pleasure”.
The three toys – dubbed Drift, Tilt and Sway – all feature a new thermally conductive nylon-based polymer that is 15-20 times better at providing fast, consistent internal heating than traditional plastic used for sex toys. The Drift is a handheld bullet, while the Tilt is intended as a P-spot / G-spot plug dual stimulation vibe. Meanwhile, the Sway is a dual stimulation rod-shaped ‘warming stimulator’. They are all currently on sale at Lora DiCarlo’s website, with the Drift for $ 95, the Tilt for $ 140, and the Sway for $ 150.

The pandemic has been a good time for sex tech. A Juniper investigation Research found that sex toy sales were up 87% last year, which honestly makes sense given lockdowns have forced people to get more creative with their love lives. Lora DiCarlo says it has sold $ 7.5 million worth of sex toys in the year since Osé’s launch, and the toys are now available in 37 countries. Oh, and it now counts actress Cara Delevingne as co-owner and creative advisor.
While Lora DiCarlo isn’t the only sex tech company, it is the company most closely associated with CES, largely because of that setback in 2019. While the CTA initially doubled down on its prudish reasoning to take Lora DiCarlo’s price away, later it returned. The CTA was introduced last year a ‘pilot year’ for exhibitors in the field of sex technology and Lora DiCarlo had a booth at the front of the showroom floor. (That said, the CTA established a dress code for these exhibitors, despite allowing for years of scantily clad maternity babies, and not every sex tech company received the same treatment.) Considering that CES 2021 is fully digital due to the pandemic, and that the inclusion of sex technique wasn’t self-evident this year, it’s nice to see Lora DiCarlo staying at the show.
