The Slovenian has assured that the Puerto Rican setter will leave a good feeling once he makes his debut with the Movistar Estudiantes de Madrid club.
The two baskets have been teammates on the Dallas Mavericks since 2018, and they cultivated a friendship that was even portrayed in several games and training sessions for the team owned by Mark Cuban.
“He is a great player. I think with his experience he will help a lot of people. I also think he will do very well. He will play very well, ”said Doncic in brief statements to the press after a Mavericks game.
