On Saturday, Lizzo posted a video on TikTok with a warning for her fourteen and a half million followers. “Don’t drink and DM, kids,” the Grammy-winning singer captioned her video. Under audio from TikTok star Tatayanna Mitchell, Lizzo revealed that she had sent Chris Evans a series of emojis with only one possible meaning. The wind? A female athlete? A basketball? That’s right, Lizzo clearly shot her shot. Well, in a follow-up video posted today, Lizzo revealed an important update: Chris Evan really answered you.
“The reason I’m angry about this is because I know I can’t marry him,” the singer synchronizes in the video. And frankly, it hurts me to the core. Because, damn Dad, he’s a rare breed, beyond compare. Like, Chris … ‘While Lizzo may be gasping for her own impudence, Evans’ response to her post hints that there are probably non-stop photos taken in his DMs every day. “No shame in a drunken DM,” replied the Knives out actor, who also followed the singer back on Instagram, with a kissing face. “God knows I’ve done worse with this app, lol.”
