Astronauts Mike Hopkins and Victor Glover Jr. are going on a spacewalk Monday to complete battery upgrades and install high-definition cameras outside the International Space Station.
This is the two astronauts’ second spacewalk in just a few days. It started around 7 a.m.ET and you can see it on this page. The spacewalk is expected to take six and a half hours.
It is Glover’s second spacewalk, staying on the ISS for the first time in a few months.
“What a beautiful sight,” said Glover, after starting his spacewalk last Wednesday.
This will be the fourth spacewalk for Hopkins, who previously completed two spacewalks during his first six-month stay on the ISS from September 2013 to March 2014.
This is the 234th spacewalk to support the assembly, maintenance and upgrades of the space station.
