Lindsey Boylan leads NYC Cuomo’s impeachment rally as fans gather in support

Protesters came to bury Governor Andrew Cuomo – and to praise him – at dueling Manhattan rallies Saturday.

Lindsey Boylan, the first female prosecutor whose sexual harassment allegations while a member of Cuomo’s staff lit the fuse for ongoing attempts to expel him, led the demands for his impeachment in Washington Square Park.

“Abuse is not limited to one person or an area,” Boylan told a crowd of about 100 activists. “Someone who misuses his power doesn’t just do it to one woman or one community. They do it on some level for every person and community. “

Boylan, now a Democratic candidate for the Manhattan presidency, also turned down state assembly chairman Carl Heastie, accusing him of conducting a “sham investigation” into the string of allegations against Cuomo, his longtime ally.

In Midtown, meanwhile, about 40 ‘Cuomosexuals’ gathered outside the governor’s office on Third Avenue to show their support, with homemade signs that read ‘Cancel Karen Culture Not Cuomo’ and ‘Do Not Resign’.

“He’s an emotional man, he’s Italian,” said Karen Gregorski, 73, of Manhattan, who dismissed the harassment and abuse allegations made by Boylan and seven other women.

‘He kissed someone or touched someone’s cheeks? Come on, ”said Gregorski. “If he touched my cheeks I would kiss him.”
