The Guard1anes Clausura 2021 Tournament is coming up and the Liga MX teams are preparing to be protagonists in the next tournament. For weeks, everyone made moves in the winter transfer market to bolster their squads.
One of the teams that was boosted the most is Atlas: the Rojinegro, who made a poor Guard1anes 2020, was eliminated in the regular season and was unable to enter the Liguilla, has six reinforcements so far, along with other clubs the one that has made the most incorporations.
This Monday, the board of the Zorros, with President José Riestra at the helm and with the presence of coach Diego Martín Cocca, officially presented the six elements for the next Mexican football game, ending negotiations to join the Guadalajara team.
“Today we present our six reinforcements. Four of them captains, three of them return to seek victory together, selected from their country, champions and most importantly, they all have the same idea, they want to transform this. One of the biggest challenges was getting our reinforcements as soon as possible, they’ve been going for weeks in the preseason “Atlas’s boss said.
The footballers were introduced one by one via a virtual press conference at the High Performance Center in Mexico City, where Rojinegro’s team is playing its preseason.
President José Riestra confirmed that there will be no more arrivals for the teameven if the fans were waiting for an attacker and a central defender. In any case, the market executed by Atlas is a good transfer market.
