Almost 25 years after the premiere of ‘Space Jam’, LeBron James shows off images dressed in the Looney Tunes uniform in the franchise’s new movie
Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James shared footage from the movie ‘Space Jam: A New Legacy’, the sequel to ‘Space Jam’ starring Michael Jordan.
Via his official Twitter account, “King James” shared the photos published by “Entertainment Weekly,” an American magazine with LeBron on the cover, along with some members of the “Looney Tunes” team.
In statements to the aforementioned media, James highlighted Michael Jordan’s work in the first film and acknowledged that he felt incredible when he first dressed in the ‘Tune Squad’ outfit.
“It’s something that Mike made and it’s his. I did it with a lot of responsibility. I had that great moment, And I thought, ‘Mom, I’m doing this. I’m really filming Space Jam, ” said James.
‘Space Jam: A New Legacy’ will premiere in theaters on July 16 and fans can also enjoy the tape on a streaming service.
