LeBron James guillates Stephen Curry and the Lakers give the Rockets another beating

Houston – LeBron James scored 26 points in just over three periods, including a corner triple without looking at the basket after dropping the ball, and the Los Angeles Lakers were never at a disadvantage on Tuesday for trampling the Rockets 117-100 in Houston.

Anthony Davis added 19 points and 10 rebounds in three quarters to help the Lakers give another beating to the Rockets, who beat them 120-102 on Sunday.

Los Angeles was more than 20 points ahead for most of the game on a night when James Harden made five of 16 shots from the field and the Rockets bounced 55-42.

Houston scored the first five runs in the fourth quarter, but a three-point play by James ended the streak and the Lakers led 100-76 with 10½ minutes to go. James put the rest of the game on the couch.

Christian Wood had 18 points and eight rebounds, while Harden had 16 points, seven boards, and six assists in a game in which none of Houston’s starters played the fourth quarter.

The Lakers were six points ahead in the first quarter before scoring the next 12 points, including five from James, to rise 28-10 with five minutes left in the period. They were leading 35-14 in the first period and 71-48 at half time.

Durant scores 34

Kevin Durant had 34 points, 13 assists and nine rebounds, and the Brooklyn Nets rallied from 18 points on Tuesday-evening to defeat the Denver Nuggets 122-116.

Bruce Brown made a good contribution by playing for Kyrie Irving. He scored 16 points, including a draw and lead shots along the course.

Durant scored the next six goals for Brooklyn, including a three-pointer that nearly finished the game, 120-113, with 27 seconds to go.

Nikola Jokic had 23 points, 11 assists and eight rebounds for the Nuggets, who tried to swipe on their three-visit road trip. However, Denver was outperformed in the second half 68-46 and lost its chance to get above .500, something it hasn’t achieved this season.

Caris LeVert added 20 points for the Nets, who had lost two consecutive games for personal reasons in Irving’s four-game absence. Brooklyn seemed doomed to suffer a third loss in a row in the third period, trailing 79-61.

However, the Nets shot on triples. And Durant started firing from every angle.
