LeBron James becomes second best scorer in Christmas games

The Angels – LeBron James was looking at the statistics just as he left Staples Center court. It was then that he realized that the Lakers had scored 138 runs, of which he contributed only 22.

The defending champions have room for improvement, but they have already won this season. And James equaled a record.

He became the second-highest scorer in NBA Christmas games during Friday’s game, a 138-115 Los Angeles victory over the Dallas Mavericks.

Anthony Davis had 28 points, while Montrezl Harrell had 22, 17 of them in the second half. Dennis Shröder had 18 points and six assists in what was a second consecutive excellent performance for both players, who recently joined the Lakers, NBA monarchs.

Los Angeles surpassed Dallas 53-27 in the recovery, registering its first win of the season thanks to a dominant fourth-quarter performance.

“We have the option of having four or maybe five players who can score about 20 points every night,” said James. “As long as we defend and are efficient, this is very nice to see.”

Luka Doncic had a total of 27 points and seven assists when he played in his first main event of the holiday season, for Dallas. Josh Richardson and Trey Burke had 17 points per capita and the Mavs started the season 0-2.

“You can’t win a game if you go 35-0 in points on the second shot,” said Doncic. “It’s that easy”.

James came in second, behind Kobe Bryant, on the list of players with the most points at Christmas. He passed Oscar Robertson in the third period.

The star has 383 points in 15 Christmas games, while Bryant had 395 points in 16 games.
