E.usebio Sacristan sustained a head injury at his home in Valladolid on Wednesday evening and was transferred to a hospital a few hours later for emergency surgery.
The coach’s last spell in the dugout was met Gerona. Before that, he spent three seasons at Real society in LaLiga Santander, four with Barcelona B and two seasons with Celtic vigo.
Eusebio came through the ranks as a player Valladolid and debuted with the first team at the age of 19.
After four seasons, he moved to Atletico Madridbefore going to Barcelona a season after that. He enjoyed seven successful seasons with the Blaugrana, including four league titles, a European Cup, a Copa del Rey and the Cup Winners’ Cup.
From Barcelona he moved to Celtic vigobefore returning to Valladolid for the last four years of his career, and retired at the age of 38.
