Lady Gaga is enjoying a break from her busy movie schedule on House Of Gucci

She has been working hard on filming House Of Gucci for the past few weeks.

And Lady Gaga took to Instagram to share a photo while enjoying a break from her busy shooting schedule for Saturday’s production of Ridley Scott.

The singer, 35, was seen relaxing in a rooftop bar as she appeared to be enjoying an Aperol Spritz holding in her hand as she posed for a stylish photo.

Lady Gaga showed her eccentric sense of style in the snap as she wrapped herself in a pink and black striped faux fur goat that she donned over a blue checked shirt.

She also wore a black and white tie-dye combo set that matched her slim frame, and fluffy black boots.

The Chromatica hitmaker pulled her brunette locks into a sleek ponytail and she shielded her eyes with a few chic shades.

Lady Gaga plays Patrizia Reggiani in House of Gucci, the estranged wife of Maurizio Gucci (Adam Driver) who hired a hit man to kill him in 1995.

The film, which documents Reggiani’s sensational plot to murder her ex-husband, is based on the novel The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamor and Greed by author Sara Gay Forden.

Reggiani was found guilty of paying a hitman € 300,000 for the murder of 46-year-old Gucci, an heir to the fashion empire.

Her husband had left her for another woman ten years earlier after telling her he was going on a business trip, from which he never returned.

She would also be outraged that her former husband had started seeing other women and feared her daughters’ $ 170 million legacy would be in jeopardy if he remarried before ordering the hit.

She also wanted more than the $ 650,000 she had received in a divorce settlement, the court heard.

Reggiani eventually hired hitman Benedetto Ceraulo, a pizza parlor debtor who shot Gucci on the steps of his Milan office when he arrived for work. Ceraulo was found guilty and sentenced to life in prison.

She was convicted after her psychic and confidant Pina Auriemma became an informant and told the police about the plot.

During the murder trial, which had grounded Italy, Reggiani arrived every day wearing Gucci clothes and accessories from head to toe.

The court heard she ordered her husband’s murder after he offered her $ 650,000 in a divorce settlement.

She was initially sentenced to 29 years in 1998, which was reduced to 26 years on appeal. She served for 18 years – with her pet ferret Bambi as a companion part of the time – before being released in October 2014.

Having Bambi by her side was a special privilege negotiated by her lawyers – but he would suffer an unfortunate death if a fellow inmate accidentally sat on him.

Known for her luxurious lifestyle, Reggiani once said, ‘I’d rather cry in a Rolls than be happy on a bike’ and declined the offer of daytime release in prison because it would mean she would have to do ‘menial’ work.

In 2017, a court ruled that Reggiani was entitled to £ 900,000 a year from her ex-husband’s fortune and that she was given a lump sum of £ 16 million for her time in prison.

Maurizio Gucci was the grandson of Guccio Gucci, founder of the fashion company that became famous with its double G logo.

Trouble hit it in the early 1990s, and he sold the label for $ 120 million just two years before his death.

It comes after Gucci’s heirs voiced concerns about their image.

Gucci’s great-grandchildren, founder of the fashion empire Guccio Gucci, have appealed to filmmaker Scott to respect their family’s legacy in the new film that focuses on a sensational murder.

The new film is scheduled for general release from November 24, 2021.

The Gucci Empire

The Gucci fashion empire was founded in 1921 by Guccio Gucci, a Florentine leather merchant whose trade in leather travel bags flourished after the Depression and World War II.

Guccio’s son Aldo expanded the business to Paris, New York and Tokyo when the family name’s ‘twin G’s’ became a global fashion icon.

In 1974, the Gucci empire had 14 stores and 46 franchise boutiques around the world.

Around the same time, celebrities such as Jackie Kennedy helped establish Gucci as the world’s leading fashion brand by embracing its products.

Maurizio Gucci, Guccio’s grandson and Aldo’s cousin, took control of the company from the board of directors after Aldo, who was sent to prison in 1986 at the age of 81 for tax evasion.

Maurizio, however, would be the last member of the family to run the Gucci company.

In 1989, nearly 50 percent of the company had been bought by Investcorp, a group of investment bankers looking for stock in the company.

In 1993 Maurizio sold his stake for $ 170 million to a Bahrain-based investment company.
